Overall Impression

 Exquisite

  • Dry style with juicy cherry & strawberry fruit flavors

  • Serve lightly chilled and pair it with light summer salads, white meats or fish.

This is a 2024 vintage Rosé and, it’s delightful and flavorsome. A dry style with plenty of summer fruit flavors like cherry and strawberry. Serve lightly chilled and if you want to pair it with food think light summer salads, white meats and fish.

Tasting Notes

This clean, fresh, crisp wine is deliciously dry with flavors of strawberry and pomegranate.

Bursting with red berries. A soft and creamy textured palate with fresh ripe raspberries, smooth fine acidity and soft tannins for an elegant finish.

Pale salmon hues with a faint pink note lead to aromas of raspberry and cherry, apricot and iced-fruit tea, a whisper of tropical fruits then a rosé quality and complexity. Dry and delicious.

Elegant and restrained, it’s finely scented on the nose with pomegranate, lemon zest, crunchy apple and subtle spice aromas. The palate displays excellent focus, splendidly structured by vibrant acidity, finishing persistent and mouth-watering.

Craggy Range

Craggy Range Winery and Vineyards nestled with Hawkes Bay Te Mata Peak in the background

Over twenty years since Craggy Range opened its doors and set about becoming one of Hawke’s Bay and New Zealand’s most iconic, premium wine producers. It takes a 'certain somebody' with the skills (and significant investment) to get a winery off the ground. Not just a somebody, a Peabody.

Australian Billionaires Terry and Mary Peabody launched the now world-famous Craggy Range in 1998. The state-of-the-art eco-friendly winery sits at the foot of the spectacular Te Mata Peak and hills there in Hawke’s Bay along with their multi-award-winning winery restaurant and no expense spared luxury winery lodge and cottage accommodation.

The Craggy Range owner once dubbed the “Golden Garbo,” earned his nickname for transforming other people’s garbage into a multibillion-dollar fortune through his waste management business in Australia. We promise that’ll be the only sentence you’ll ever read with words ‘garbage’ and ‘Craggy range’ together in them. Craggy boasts a world-class line-up of wines that deserve every bit of praise — one of them is a fantastic rosé.

It's absolutely delicious! The color is a light, pale salmon, presenting a mouthwatering style with a clean dry finish.

Tasting Notes

The 2024 vintage Rosé embodies the classy style you would expect from Craggy Range. A delicate, salmon-tinted Rosé made entirely from Merlot—a delightful and unexpected surprise. Grown in Craggy Range Hawkes Bay vineyards, the grapes are carefully selected for their balanced flavor and freshness, then gently pressed to achieve precise extraction of color and flavor.

The bouquet offers fragrant hints of orange blossom, wild strawberry, and fresh lavender.

For the palate, this rosé wine is refreshing and irresistible, with sweet berry flavors harmonizing perfectly with vibrant, textural acidity. The finish is long and dry, leaving you eager for another sip.

We had to do a double take to confirm we weren’t looking at a French-style Rosé. Its color is a gorgeous pale, light salmon and features a mouthwatering style with a dry finish.

Stolen Kiss by Rockburn

The Place

Rockburn Stolen Kiss Rosé uniquely Zealand

Shop Stolen Kiss Ros in Explorer Collection

Rockburn takes its name from the rugged, rock-strewn, burn-scarred landscape of Central Otago. The region is renowned for its stunning scenery of rugged mountains and picturesque lakes.

Appropriately, the winery writes "The sweetly frivolous and fruity side of Central Otago Pinot Noir is bound up in this bottle of Stolen Kiss Rosé; once unleashed into your glass its candy floss and crème-brûlée aromas sashay into a flirtatious toffee-apple and simmering strawberry palate smeared with cherry lip-gloss."

The Rosé - trending

This sexy as ever the latest ’24 release of one of NZ’s most famous Rosés.

Rockburn Stolen Kiss Rosé a trending New Zealand Wine

Rock Stolen Kiss Rosé Premier Rosé Collection

Stolen Kiss is even trending these days. A few years back Vanity Fair magazine called this label “the must have” summer drink. Along with the must have totes and bikinis.!

Produced from Rockburn’s Pinot Noir grapes from Central Otago. Stolen Kiss has delicious, juicy summer fruit flavors like strawberries and cherries with a candyfloss like sweetness – finishing off-dry, it’s absolute essential sipping!

Rockburn Stolen Kiss Rose has to be enjoyed ice cold.

Tasting Notes

Bright, even, pale blush pink. The bouquet is gentle and attractive, with aromas of strawberry and black cherry entwined with rose petals. Medium-bodied, off-dry to taste, the fruit flows with taut, sherbet acidity; a touch of sweetness rounds and fills the palate with a sense of weight, unfolding candy floss nuance and lending a juicy finish. Seductive and well-balanced. Serve well-chilled over the next 3 years.

NZ's MOST SOUGHT AFTER ROSÉ

Vinted from Central Otago Pinot Noir by one of New Zealand's finest winemaking teams, this is hands down New Zealand's most sought after rosé.

Winemaker Malcolm Rees-Francis has nailed the style that has won this Central Otago cult classic its devoted following and this new 2024 vintage bursts with just-off-dry upfront strawberry fruits and finishes with a perfectly balanced lick of fresh acidity that brings your palate back to earth.

It's fantastic. If you haven't had a Stolen Kiss moment in your life, you really don't know what you're missing.
